Please let us know what your needs are so we can discuss solutions that work for both you and your horse.
Care
Full care with daily turnout and stall cleaning provided. Blanketing & flysheet on/off service, weekly grooming (if desired), and affection are all included in board. We will record and post your horse's normal vitals and measure weight semimonthly, as well as monitor for overall condition on a daily basis. Holding for farrier and vet service available upon request. Managers live onsite full time with 17+ years experience caring for horses. We maintain an open line of communication with regular updates and pictures.
Stalls
12'x12' with mats, high velocity fans, natural light, bedded with pine shavings. Exterior dutch doors lead to stone dust pen should need arise. Stall water buckets cleaned daily, complementary salt blocks monitored and replenished as needed. During warm months, horses are stalled during the day, in cold months stalled at night.
Stables, Paddocks
Access to hot/cold wash stall, tack room, slip-resistant rubber aisle pavers. We stock Enrich Plus, a safe balancing pellet (grain), and quality hay. Paddocks have shelter, always access to sparking spring water and salt blocks.
Bug management
Included with board: Fly Predators
dispatched monthly in fly season, application of tick & fly repelling non-pyrethrin spray. We maintain a complementary semiannual deworming program and regular paddock manure cleaning year-round.
